hiiv.info domain page comes and claims to be an award offer : It tells the users that they are the lucky visitors that have the chance to get a gift if they complete a survey. However you should keep a calm mind, there is no free lunch. This page is actually trying to take you in some scams, you will suffer financial loss if you do as it says. 


After victims finished the survey, they will face some possible scams:
  • It requires you to call an offered number to know about the process of getting the reward. If you do as it says, you may get nothing but expensive telephone bills.
  • It asks you to leave your email address. Surely a main contains junk information, trojans and viruses will be the only surprise you will get.
  • You are directly asked to pay for the tax before getting the gift. There is no doubt that you will not receive anything after you pay.

Manually remove hiiv.info step by step:

Step 1. Stop the dubious running process
Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Start Task Manager, click Process tab, find and click on the related running process, and click End Process.

Step 2. Uninstall unwanted program from Control Panel


Click Start button, open Control Panel to choose Programs and Feature, then find the unwanted programs in the list, right click to uninstall them.

Step 3. Remove its add-ons or extensions from your web browsers

Setting>>show advanced setting>>Reset Settings

Step 5. Open Registry Editor and remove registry entries
Start >> input regedit in the search box >>open  Registry Editor >>find the related date and remove them.
Notice: Skip this step if you are not familiar with Registry Editor. Use professional tools instead.
