Such a pop-up can pop up on your Chrome, Firefox and IE, its domain may contain something like freestuff-giveaway-sweepstakes.com. It claims that you the lucky site viewer to win a prize. If you click to continue, you will be redirected to Everydayrewardsclub.com and required to leave your Email address.

You should keep a clear head. There is no free lunch. This is the first step of a scam. If you leave your mail address, you will get nothing helpful but harmful viruses like trojans.
