Sweetpack is a nasty adware program and a member of tricky hijack browser. Secondly, this program is hijacked by the hackers, who use this virus as tool to access the target computer. They use Start.sweetpacks.com to scan the browser and search history of the computer to record the sites which users have visited and then extract data such as logon usernames and passwords. Then they use those data to sensitive information to gain profits.

Moreover, this virus can sneak into the system without your consent, for this program always comes bundled with other freeware. Once you installed those free programs on your computer, this virus will come into your system, too. And this virus can get into your computer when you open a spam attachment, update a program, visit an unknown website and so on.

A: Show all hidden files


1. Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
2. Click on the Start button. This is the small round button with the Windows flag in the lower left corner.
3. Click on the Control Panel menu option.
4. When the control panel opens click on the Appearance and Personalization link.
5. Under the Folder Options category, click on Show Hidden Files or Folders.
6. Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files, folders, or drives.
7. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide extensions for known file types.
8. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
9. Press the Apply button and then the OK button.

B: Go to Control Panel and delete Sweetpack virus from Add & Remove program


1. Click on the Start button. This is the small round button with the Windows flag in the lower left corner.
2. Click on the Control Panel menu option.
3. Click on Program
4. Click Add & Remove Program
5. Find Sweetpack virus list and select Remove
6. Press the Apply button and then the OK button.

C: To stop all Sweetpack processes, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the “Processes” tab, search Sweetpack virus then right-click it and select “End Process” key.




D: Click “Start” button and selecting “Run.” Type “regedit” into the box and click “OK” to delete all Sweetpack virus registries
